Rosneft receives 20% of Norwegian shelf

The Russian state company Rosneft has received 20% share of the Norwegian shelf in the Barents Sea. As it was reported at the site of the corporation, a piece of the nearshore zone went to the oil giant through the company Rn Nordic Oil AS, which belongs to Rosneft.

As for documents, Rosneft received license PL713, which includes 4 blocks - 7219/2, 3, 7319/11 and 12 (20% of the shelf area). The subsidiary of the Russian corporation received this license due to win in the 22nd round of the contest, announced by the Norwegian Ministry of oil and Energy.
