Rosneft, Lukoil and Eni obtain the licenses for extraction of hydrocarbons at Norwegian shelf of the Barents Sea

Rosneft and Lukoil obtained the licenses for extraction of hydrocarbons at Norwegian shelf of the Barents Sea after the 22nd licensed round the results of which were announced by Norwegian oil directorate today.

The applications of Lukoil for 719 and 708 sectors were satisfied. At the same time, British Centrica has become the operator of 719 sector with 50% share. The share of Lukoil has made up 30%. The remaining 20% belong to Norwegian North Energy. Swedish Lundin Petroleum is the operator of 708 sector (40%). Lukoil, North Energy and Italian Edison are the partners.
