In 2012, Uzbekistan kept its oil and gas reserves at their former level

In 2012,  proven oil and gas reserves of Uzbekistan remained at the former level of 100 million tons of oil and 1.1 trillion cubic m of gas, BP claims in its report about the global energy sphere.

BP’s experts think that in 2012 Uzbekistan declined oil production by 12% to 3.2 million tons of oil, and 68,000 barrels a day (-11.7%). Oil consumption increased by 2.1% to 3.9 million tons, or 82,000 barrels a day, versus 80,000 barrels in 2011.
