SOCAR to increase the stake of Petkim in the market of Turkey to 40%

By 2023 SOCAR plans to increase the stake of the oil chemicals complex Petkim in the market of Turkey to 40%, President of SOCAR, R. Abdullaev, said.
According to him, the constructed within short time oil and gas pipelines also play an important role oil transportation from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan to the world oil markets.
Today Azerbaijan fully provides its energy safety and makes a good contribution into the energy safety of Georgia and Turkey, Mr. Abdullaev said.
SOCAR also takes serious steps towards providing the energy safety in the EU and despite of the unstable situation in the world market of energy products this work goes on, he said.
