In late May a contract will be most likely signed under which the "Gazprom" company will start the deliveries of Russian gas to the Celestial Kingdom. According to Anatoly Yanovskiy, The RF Deputy Energy Minister, the document is prepared by 98 percent. It is expected that it will be signed during the official visit of President Vladimir Putin in Beijing.
The negotiations on gas between Russia and China has been going on for quite some time, about 10 years.
