Gazprom is not going to carry out joint oil and gas deposits development with China, and only discusses possible gas supplies to the state, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom, V. Markelov says.

On May 12th, the Vice Minister of Energy A. Yanovsky said that the contract for gas supplies to China was ready by 98%, and they were going to close the document while the May visit of the Russian President V. Putin to China.
