Kazakhstan has not had the time to upgrade its refineries as scheduled

The modernization of the Pavlodar oil refinery is scheduled to be completed in Kazakhstan by 2018, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Energy reported on April 12, 2016.

The refinery modernization takes place in violation of the planned terms - instead of 2016, the project is scheduled for completion in 2018. The project cost for the Pavlodar petrochemical plant was $697 million. Currently capital investment are 12% spent.

The company works on laying foundation, installation of equipment and metal structures, laying pipelines and communications on sites of isomerization unit and a naphtha splitter. Tanks for isomerate is assembled, the first one is 45.5% mounted, the second one - 20.2%.
