Gazprom buys German gas storage

As a result of the transaction for exchange of the assets with Wintershall, Gazprom will enlarge its shareholding in the gas storage nearby the city of Reden in Lower Saxony. In exchange, Wintershall will get access to Siberian gas deposits. From the middle of 2014, Gazprom can own one fifth of the German gas storages.
