Gazprom to buy German gas storage

“Gazprom” is about to expand its presence on the German market.

The Russian company will increase its share up to 100% in the gas storage near the city Rehden in Lower Saxony as a result of a deal on an asset swap with Wintershall, BASF’s subsidiary.

Wintershall will get an access to the Siberian gas deposits, Rosbalt states citing Deutsche Welle.
