Commercial oil flow is found at Altyguyi deposit

The state-run concern “Turkmennebit” (Turkmenneft) produced oil at a well bore at the deposit of Altyguyi. It is said in a statement by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan.
“There has been drilled an appraisal well No 22 to assess the raw material resources of a new-developed deposit Altyguyi (West Turkmenistan). The budgeted depth reached 4100 meters this year. There started prospecting work at an open sector of the deposit,” is said in a statement.
Commercial oil flow has been produced at the lower red beds at the section 4012-4018. Upstream exploration is carried out at 2 wells at present and construction and installation work at one of the wells, the branch ministry states.
