"Gazprom Neft" drills the first horizontal well in the Arctic.

"Gazprom Neft" has completed the drilling of the first on the Yamal Peninsula bilateral production wells with horizontal sections in the 1 thousand meters each. The well drilled to Novoportovskoye gas condensate deposit, which is operated by "Gazprom Neft Yamal".
The total depth of the main well - 4,6 thousand meters, and horizontal sections away from it at a depth of less than 2 thousand meters. Hour drilling at the deposit was made by specialists of the Research Center "Gazprom oil".
