EIA has released short-term forecast on oil extraction in Azerbaijan

In 2016 oil extraction in Azerbaijan will make up 0.87 mln barrels a day and 0.86 mln barrels a day in 2017, is said in the January short-term energy market review of the Energy Information Agency of the USA.
According to EIA, in H1 2016 oil extraction in Azerbaijan will make up 0.88 mln barrels a day, in H2 – 0.87 mln barrels a day.
The highest oil extraction level in Azerbaijan in 2017 will be in Q1 – 0.87 mln barrels a day, in Q2 and Q3 – 0.86 mln barrels a day, in Q4 – 0.85 mln barrels.
The main oil volume in Azerbaijan is extracted at the ACG block. Azeri Light brand is extracted there with sulphur content of 0.15%.
