Liquefied gas market in the Ukraine exceeded 1 million tons in 2014

In 2014, balance of Ukrainian LPG market amounted to more than 1 million tons, increased by 12.7%. Such calculations are provided by analysts of Consulting Group A-95. Experts also note that there are all prerequisites for reducing prices of autogas and increasing popularity of LPG in industrial and municipal sectors.

Experts note that the assessment of the market is complicated by unavailability of data on consumption and supply of propane-butane in the Crimea. "Excluding the peninsula, the consumption was about 965 thousand tons, so even if the pessimistic estimates, the total market volume in the former borders of the country exceeded 1 million tons," - said analyst of A-95 Artem Kuiun.
