The price for oil will return to about $100/barrel but not immediately, former chief economist and director for research of the International Monetary Fund, professor of economics of Harvard University, K. Rogoff, said. “I can argue with those who say that the oil price won’t return to $100/barrel. The price will probably return to this level”, Mr. Rogoff commented the words of the Prince of Saudi Arabia, Al-Valid ibn Talal Al Sauda on the impossibility of the oil price returning to $100/barrel. Today, as of 12.44 p.m. Moscow time, the contracts for the European sort of Brent with the supply in February fell by $1.6 or 3.37% to $45.83/barrel, WTI – by $1.52 or 3.3% to $44.55/barrel.
