RN Uvatneftegaz produces the 50 millionth ton of oil

RN-Uvatneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has produced 50 million tons of oil since the beginning of the Uvat project in 2004. At the same time, during the past 10 years the company’s annual oil production increased almost 10 times from 1.2 million tons in 2004 to about 10 million tons, expected by results of this year.

In 2007, the production began at the Urnenskoye and Ust-Tegusskoye fields - the largest deposits, discovered by geologists in Uvat. Today, the total amount of recoverable oil reserves of these deposits are estimated at more than 135 million tons.
