Net profit of E.ON Russia under IAS fell by 32% to 8 bln roubles over first 9 months

The net profit of E.ON Russia under IAS fell by 32% in Jan-September 2015 to 8 bln roubles against Jan-September 2014.

The company’s revenue amounted to 52.6 bln roubles having fallen by 7% against Jan-September 2014.

In Jan-September 2015 EBITDA fell by 26% to make up 14.4 bln roubles against Jan-September 2014.

The main reason of the revenue fall is connected with 2 factors: the shutdown of the Surgut state district power plant-2 because of the accident in Jan 2015 and penalty for the delay in putting into operation of block #3 at the Berezovsky state district power plant.

Without taking into account these factors, the revenue fall would amount to 5-8%. The main business of E.ON Russia is stable and will strengthen with the launch of a new energy block of the Berezovsky state district power plant in October 2015.
