Evraz has appointed a new responsible body for the Ukraine

In the new organizational structure of Evraz there are no “Steel” and “Ore” divisions any more; instead “Ural”, “Siberia” and “Ukraine” divisions has been formed by the geographic principle.

The Ukrainian assets of Evraz – Evraz DMZ n.a. Petrovsky, Evraz Sukha Balka and Evraz Bagleycoke have entered the “Ukraine” division under the supervision of the Vice-President of Evraz, D. Novozhenov.

The “Ural” division has united Evraz NTMK and Evraz KGOK, it is headed by the Vice-President of Evraz, M. Andriasov.

It will be additionally announced of the appointment of the head of the “Siberia” division which comprises Evraz ZSMK and Evrazruda. The assets under the control of Raspadskaya coal company and Mezhegeyugol will be still in the “Coal” division under the supervision of the Vice-President of Evraz, S. Stepanov.

A new commerce and business development block has been formed. It is headed by the chief Vice-President of Evraz, A. Ivanov, who previously headed the “Steel” division. This block will take on the functions of steel, ore and vanadium sale via the sales and logistics structures of Evraz. The block will also focus the functions in the sphere of technical development of the metallurgical and ore business, marketing and operational planning, management over the projects and implementation of operational improvements. The functions of the block will comprise the central supply, including the management over the energy companies of Evraz. Moreover, the block will be responsible for the control over the vanadium assets and enterprise Evraz Caspian Steel in Kazakhstan.
