"UC Rusal": global aluminium consumption has grown by 7% within 9 months of 2014.

"UC Rusal" estimates that in the first nine months of 2014 the deficit of aluminium on the world market excluding China amounted to 0.9 million tons due to stronger-than-expected growth in the demand for aluminium and the reduction of the aluminium production volumes.

In the first nine months of 2014 the world consumption of aluminium increased by 7% - to 41 million tons compared with the same period of 2013, the report of the aluminium giant "UC Rusal" informs.
