Azerbaijan considers routes of gas supply to Hungary

Azerbaijan consideres the possibility of gas supplies to Hungary. This was announced by President Ilham Aliyev in interview to the Hungarian national television.

"We consider Hungary a partner in the field of energy cooperation and consider, on what routes to deliver Azerbaijani gas to Hungary. This may be a route of Bulgaria-Romania-Hungary or Ionichesko-Adriatic pipeline, which will be laid through the Balkan countries, and then from Croatia to Hungary. It’s necessary to think, which route is acceptable for all of us. Given the project of Southern Gas Corridor, which we implement, and gas reserves of Azerbaijan, I have no doubt that Hungary and Azerbaijan will become partners in the gas sector,"- said Aliyev.
