Uraltransservice has won the Rassolninskie diamonds in Perm region

​Uraltransservice has won a tender for the right to use a federal subsoil site comprising the Siluriysky site and the northern part of the Rassolinskaya depression deposit (Perm region) for geological study, exploration and extraction of alluvial diamonds for 13.8 mln roubles.

The respective order was signed by the PM D. Medvedev. Uraltransservice and Uralalmaz participated in the auction.

The area of the site is 7.8 sq km, forecast P1 resources as of Jan 1, 2011 make up 152 thousand karats, P2 – 691 thousand karats, P3 – 228 thousand karats; in the northern part of the Rassolinskaya depression – 177 thousand cubic m of sands and 7.8 thousand karats of alluvial diamonds of +0.5 mm class of C1 category, out-of-the-balance reserves – 2.1 thousand karats.

In conformity with the law “On subsoil”, a subsoil user makes one-time payment. The payment for this site amounted to 13.829 mln roubles.
