The contractors drawn by Lukoil to Filanovsky deposit to have advantages in conclusion of new contracts

The contractors drawn by Lukoil to development of Caspian Filanovsky deposit will have advantages in the conclusion of the contracts for the development of other Caspian deposits of the company, Vagit Alekperov said at his meeting with contractors in Astrakhan.

“Those contractors which had won the tenders for the building of surface facilities there will undoubtedly have some advantages at the tenders for other Caspian deposits”, he emphasized.

The company reports, the heads of United shipbuilding corporation (ice-resistant stationary platform-1), Krasnye Barrikady plant (accommodation module platform and a riser block), Globalstroy Engineering (central technological platform), Bumi Armada Berhad (oil line and gas line between Filanovsky and Korchagin deposits), Saipem S.p.A. (pipelines) for oil and gas transportation to the coast), Palmali Shipping Services and Agency Co. LTD (supply vessels) have taken part in the meeting.

“The project for development of Filanovsky deposit is very important for us, as this is an important stage of the complex development of the Caspian Sea, specially controlled by the President”, Alekperov reminded.
