Gazprom is in a tender for the construction of gas pipeline in Mexico

Gazprom is among bidders for the construction of a gas pipeline, connecting Mexico and Guatemala. As the agency EFE reports, a statement was made by the Minister of Economy of Mexico, Sergio del Torre.
According to him, today, he will meet with representatives of the Russian gas company to listen to their suggestions.
"Gazprom is not the only company that contends to construct the pipeline with length of about 600 km. Companies from China, the United States and Mexico also contend to the project, whose value is estimated at from $800 million to $1.2 billion, but del Torre didn’t name them.
