Gazprom to receive benefits for fulfillment of Chinese contract

The Russian authorities have begun to discuss the issue of the providing of privileges to Gazprom for the fulfillment of the contract with China. The day before, the Vice Prime Minister, Arkady Dvorkovich held a meeting on this issue with representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economic Development, a source familiar with the situation told the Interfax.

A representative of the Ministry of Economic Development states that the Ministry finds possible to define a list of benefits for Gazprom after the monopolist will present financial and economic studies and techno-economic model, based on an assessment of possible economic effects and shortfall in incomes of the budget system.
