DTEK buys right to extract gas in the Kharkov region

Neftegazrazrabotka, which is a part of holding company DTEK, has acquired the right for geological exploration, followed by oil and gas production at the Khoroshevskaya area in the Kharkov region.
The natural gas resources of the Khoroshevskaya area in are estimated at 761 million cubic meters, oil – at 495 thousand tons. However, geological exploration of the field wasn’t carried out, the resources must be proved. This work is to must be completed before the end of the year. The first exploration well at the site will appear presumably in 2017.
