“Rospan International” increased drilling volumes in H1 2015

​“Rospan International”, an affiliate of Rosneft, in H1 2015 increased drilling volumes by more than 7 times against H1 2014. Over 53 thousand m were drilling in H1.

111 wells were drilled at the Achimov layer (is characterized by a high layer pressure), that is by more than 3 times more than in H1 2014. In July 2015 Rospan reached the peak of drilling – 13 drilling teams work simultaneously at the company’s deposits (11 – operational drilling teams, 2 – exploratory drilling teams). In the process of drilling modern technologies and new methods of work organization are applied. This practice allows not only to have an economic effect but to additionally reduce the period of drilling of each well on average by 5 days.
