Slovakian gas operator is ready to start reverse supplies to the Ukraine

The specialists of the operator of the Slovakian gas transportation system - the company Eustream – have completed the preparatory works for reverse supplies of gas to the Ukraine, a representative of Eustream, Vagram Chuguryan said on Tuesday.

"From September 1st this year, we are ready to start the reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine from Central Europe countries in the control mode, which provides for the supply of about 3 billion cubic meters per year, - said Chuguryan. - From March 1st, 2015, the pipeline will be able to supply 10 billion cubic meters per year".

The Eustream’s representative recalled that during the Open Season procedure several European companies provided binding bids for pumping gas through the pipeline.
