Serbia examines privatization of oil company by Gazpromneft

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, N.Stefanovich has formed a special investigation group to check the circumstances of the selling of the oil company “Oil industry of Serbia” (NIS) to the Russian “Gazpromneft” in 2009. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia states. There are no other details in thea statement of the Ministry.

As they stated to RIA Novosti in the press-service of NIS, “the privatization of NIS is part of an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Serbia.” “The management of NIS is responsible for operative administration of the company,” a companion of the agency added.
