Gazpromneft buys 9% of Nortgaz

Gazpromneft has acquired 18.2% of Gazprom resource Nortgaz, which holds 50% in Nortgaz. As a result of the transaction, Gazpromneft has a 9.1% effective interest in Nortgaz.
According to the Gazpromneft’s report, as of June the 30th, 2014 other assets of subsidiaries and affiliates of the parent company included 8.5 billion rubles of prepayment to Gazprombank for the stake in Gazprom resource Nortgaz.
