A refinery is planned to be constructed in the Zonalny district of the region, the Russian Ministry of Energy reports.
The Barnaul company Sibirsky Barrel will be the project investor. The plant will produce diesel fuel, automobile gasoline, bitumen, liquefied gas, benzene, toluene and scrape. The project is being engineered now. The company reports that the oil processing will make up 1 million tons per year. It’s planned to start the construction in 2015, the supposed construction period is 3-3.5 years.
