Russia approves draft agreement on transfer of Kyrgyzstan’s gas transmission network to Gazprom for $1

Russian Government has approved a draft agreement on cooperation in the field of transportation, distribution and sale of natural gas in Kyrgyzstan, the UNIAN writes.

In accordance with the draft agreement, a 100% subsidiary of Kyrgyzgas in the form of a limited liability company will be created in Kyrgyzstan, and all gas pipelines, gas distribution stations, underground gas storages, plots of land and other property, belonged to Kyrgyzgas, as well as rights and interests, stipulated in the draft agreement, will be transferred to it. 100% of the new company are sold to Gazprom for $1, the Prime transmits.
