NTMK will decline contaminants emission

The Sverdlovsk Government has agreed the order about the gradual reduction of contaminants emission into the atmosphere by Evraz. The combine will decline the norm by 2015. They have signed the program for gradual reduction of harm to environment at Nizhny-Tagil metal works (NTMK). In particular, the plant will reconstruct the convertor shop #1, enlarging its capacity to 4.2 million tons of semi-finished items annually. They will also reconstruct coke shop #2, the trapping shop, blast furnace #5. The enterprise will build a utility for coal dust fuel injection to blast furnaces.
