​The International Energy Agency has saved the forecast of the world demand for oil in 2016 at 95.9 mln barrels a day.

The agency forecasts the daily growth of demand for oil in 2016 at 1.2 mln barrels against 2015, as was forecast in April.

According to the May forecast, the agency expects a fall of oil extraction outside OPEC in 2016 by 800 thousand tons a day to 56.8 mln barrels against 2015, which is by 100 thousand barrels a day less than in the agency’s April forecast.

The extraction of OPEC roe by 330 thousand barrels a day against March and made up 32.76 mln barrels – this is the maximum level since August 2008.

According to the International Energy Agency, Iran increased the extraction in April to 3.56 mln barrels a day (maximum since November 2011). To compare: in March oil extraction in Iran reached 3.3 mln barrels a day.
