By 2040, Russia to increase gas production by 28 billion cubic meters

US experts believe that Russia will increase the gas production in the next 25 years to 28 billion cubic meters per year, which is about 5% of the current levels. This is stated in the report of the US Department of Energy’s Independent Information Management, which today spread a new forecast of the situation development on the global energy market in the period till 2040.
