Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom confirms that Altai project is frozen

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Plc. Valery Golubev claimed, the project of Altai gas pipeline construction had been frozen after the negotiations of Vladimir Putin with the leader of PRC Xí Jìnpíng, the press service of the State Assembly of the Republic of Altai reported with reference to the speaker of Al Quriltai, Ivan Belekov.

Belekov has recently visited Yamburg deposit in Yamal and discussed the prospects of Altai gas pipeline construction with Golubev. The Deputy Chairman of Gazprom noted, the gas pipelines will be laid along the eastern part of the country in compliance with the results of the negotiations between the RF and China.
