The Board of Directors of “Gazprom” to discuss deals with German Wintershall on April 23

The Board of directors of OJSC “Gazprom” will consider the deals with German Wintershall at the meeting on April 23, is said in a statement of the Russian gas holding.
According to an agreement, signed last year, Wintershall will get 25%+1 share at the 4 and 5th blocks of the Achimovsky basins of the Urengoy deposit in Western Siberia together with an option on the increase of its share up to 50%. In accordance with the development plan, the resources of the blocks make up 274 billion cubic meters of gas and 74 million tons of condensate. The total annual production will make up about 8 billion cubic meters in peak period. The start of production is planned in 2016.
