Oil extraction in Russia rose 0.7% in 2014the daily oil extraction in Russia set a record for the post Soviet period having risen by 0.7% to 10.58 mln barrels a day, the Ministry of Energy reported.

The oil and gas condensate extraction in December reached 10.67 mln barrels a day that also became a record from the times of the breakdown of the USSR.

The gas extraction in 2014 fell 4% to 640.237 bln cubic m.
