From January 1, export oil duty in Russia decreased by $107.3 to #170.2 per ton

From January 1, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, the export duty on oil in Russia decreased by $107.3 to $170.2 per ton. In December, the export duty on crude oil was $277.5 per ton.

According to a new formula for calculating, the preferential rate of duty on crude oil from Eastern Siberian, Caspian fields and the Prirazlomnoye deposit amounts to $11.9 per ton as compared with the prior rate of $107.3 per ton. The duty on high-viscosity oil fell to $22.0 from $27.7 in November.
