The Ukraine reduces the production of steel and cast iron

Ukrainian metallurgical companies continue to decrease the production of metal. According to preliminary data, the output of cast iron, steel and rolled metal will be reduced significantly.

Thus, the volume of steel production will drop immediately by 15% as compared with the previous year, and in 2015 they will amount to about 23 million tons. In 2015, the production of cast iron will make up only 22 million tons, but in this case the decline in the production will be only 11%. The volumes of rolled metal will decline the most - by 16% and will amount to about 20 million tons per year - this data was voiced at the meeting of the association Metallurgprom.
