Lukoil does not to waive the plan on the modernization of the Volgograd refinery in 2016
Lukoil, Russia's second largest oil company maintains its intention to complete the modernization of the refinery in 2016, according to Rupec citing information from a company representative.
The following year, the company planned to launch a hydrocracking unit at the Volgograd refinery. At the same time it was decided not to continue with the project for the construction of the catalytic cracker.
According to the company, the project was planned to implement only in the case of excess raw materials at the Volgograd refinery. However, the scheme approved requires all the incoming raw materials and they will be processed into additional volumes of diesel and high-quality oils.
