USA caused the failure of the project for the construction of the "South Stream" gas pipeline bypassing the Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, told "UNIAN".
In addition, Dmitry Medvedev stated that Russia had frozen the "South Stream" and decided to give it up.
Thus, D. Medvedev stated the main reason for such a decision was that Bulgaria had not given permission.
