Mikhail Gutseriev starts the second round – he constructs new oil company

Businessman Mikhail Gutseriev, created Russneft from separate assets in 2000s, creates new oil company more and more actively. As the Kommersant has got to know, Neftisa, controlled by Gutseriev, is close to purchase of two more assets in Timano-Pechora. The businessman has bought two small companies, negotiates on consolidation with Exillon Energy and transferred Russneft’s two assets to Neftisa. The total amount of the assets is estimated at $2 billion on the market; it is considered that the new company is created for the further sale. But there is a version that the businessman consolidates assets for himself beyond credited Russneft.

Neftisa, controlled by Mikhail Gutseriev, has negotiated on purchase of Dinyelneft and Chedty neft, market sources told the Kommersant. According to them, representatives of Neftisa have already conducted due diligence of the assets and will conclude the deal soon. But another source of the Kommersant, who is close to the negotiations, says that “final agreements haven’t been achieved yet”. A representative of Mikhail Gutseriev doesn’t comment on this information. During the last several months, the businessman actively gathered different assets in the oil company Neftisa. 99% of it belong to Cyprian Dolmer Enterprises Ltd and 1% to the Russneft’s Vice president for Economy and Finances Olga Prozorovskaya.

The company was registered in 2008, but remained empty for a long time.
