European partners of Gazprom support South Stream

Bulgaria, Slovenia and Hungary where the main part of South Stream will pass are going to support the project at the meeting of EU Ministers of Energy in Brussels on Thursday. Kommersant reports, European pressure to the project can become weaker when Lithuania is replaced by Greece actively cooperating with Russia.

Yesterday Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev conducted the negotiations with the PM of Slovenia Alenka Bratušek concerning the project of South Stream. Alenka Bratušek reported, on Thursday the issue would be discussed at the meeting with the European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger with participation of all European countries where South Stream is supposed to be laid.
