Naftogaz raises a credit for upgrading of the transit pipeline from Russia to the EU

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has agreed to grant $200 million to the Ukrainian GTS operator Ukrtransgaz, a 100% subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukraine. the funds are allocated to upgrading of the active gas transporting system of the transit pipeline Urengoy – Pomary – Uzhgorod. The total sum of expenses to reconstruction of the Ukrainian division is $600 million. Other international  currency-credit and the financial organizations will finance $400 million of the sum. The interest rates and the terms of the credit are not brought into the public.
