Russian copper company strengthens contacts with Kazakhstan in mining industry

The Russian copper company (RMK) has presented its projects in the sphere of the mining industry in Russia and Kazakhstan at the Xth Russian-Kazakh forum.

The Russian copper company started to work in Kazakhstan in 2004. During the nine years, a number of investment projects on the construction of mining and dressing enterprises was implemented. The key asset of the company in Kazakhstan is the Aktyubinsk copper company (AMK) that manages the mining and dressing plant on processing of copper and copper-zinc ores with capacity of up to 4.5 million tons of ore per year.The raw material from the deposits 50 let Oktyabrya and Priorskoye, which are developed by Copper Technology (a part of the Russian copper company), is supplied to the AMK’s dressing plants. In 2007, the Aktyubinsk copper company became one of 30 corporate leaders of Kazakhstan.
