Russia and Kazakhstan plan to sign a protocol to intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the development of the Imashevskoye gas condensate field, the Assistant to the Russian President, Yuri Ushakov reported to journalists.

The Imashevskoye gas condensate field is located in the frontier zone of two countries. The field’s explored gas reserves make up over 100 billion cubic meters.

The document may be signed within the Xth forum of intergovernmental cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan with participation of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin and the Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, which will take place in Yekaterinburg on November, 11.th
