Fall of production in Kazakh ferrous metallurgy may reach 15% in 2013

By results of 2013, the fall of production in the Kazakh ferrous metallurgy may reach 15%, the republic’s Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning forecasts.

“The slow pace of growth in the secondary industry is tied with the decrease of the production in the metallurgy by 5.1% - its share in the sector exceeds 36.4%,” – Dosaev said at the extended meeting of the Government.

The report, spread before the speech of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning’s Head, says that in the first nine months of this year the production in ferrous metallurgy fell by 14%, and the further fall up to 15% is possible before the end of the year.
