The Ukraine and the EU to be able to spend the winter without Russian gas - the deputy head of Naftogaz.

Norway and North Africa may be the gas suppliers.

The Ukraine and the European Union have enough opportunities to spend the winter without additional supplies of Russian gas, Alexander Todiichuk, the deputy chairman of Naftogaz of the Ukraine, told TV channel CMB, RBK-Ukraine informs.

"Yes, this is difficult, these are the critical scenarios, such a stressful situation. But among those scenarios that we have developed in our state - if it is not a catastrophically cold winter, we have much of a chance to live (through the winter - Ed.)" – Todiichuk stated.

He stated that the Ukraine would be able to receive gas from Norway and North Africa through the terminal to receive LNG.
