In Q1, Gazprom reduced its net debt by 13% to 969.9 billion rubles

As of March the 31st of 2014, the net debt of Gazprom under IAS amounted to 969.943 billion rubles that is by 13% less than as of December the 31st of 2013, the Russian gas giant reports.

"The reasons for the reduction of this indicator is connected with the increase in cash and cash equivalents, which was compensated for by the growth of the dollar and the euro against the Russian ruble," – Gazprom explains.
