President of Azerbaijan issues a decree on purchase of rights over land and real estate in connection of project of the South Caucasus gas pipeline extension

On Wednesday, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree of measures for the organization a of more efficient process for the acquisition of rights over land and real estate in connection with the project of the South Caucasus gas pipeline expansion, the press centre of the country’s head reports.

In order to fulfill the decree, the mobile service ASAN was prescribed to provide a range of services from September 20 of this year, including state registration of acts of civil status, notary services, issuing and replacement of identity cards, services, relating to real estate registration, issuance of archival information and services for land inventory, etc..

The SCPX pipeline, as well as SCP, is intended for export of gas from the offshore field Shah Deniz to the west.
