The Premier D. Medvedev promises to reduce tax burden to scavenger oil

The Premier D. Medvedev promises at the session of the Russian Government to reduce tax burden to scavenger oil extraction by 5-24% in 2015 versus 2014.

The tax manoeuvre realized since 2014 presupposes the gradual raise of oil mineral tax and the duties for dark oil products with simultaneous reduction of the export duties for light oil products and oil.

Mr. Medvedev says that the tax manoeuvre presupposes the gradual reduction of the export duties for oil by 1.8 times and for oil products by up to 5 times depending on the sort within 3 years. Oil mineral tax will be raised by 1.7 times and gas condensate mineral tax will be raised by 6.5 times.
